The agreement between you and Winhanced.

The short version. Winhanced is free to use. Early Access builds are a thank you for supporting us on Patreon. Connect only accounts that are yours, follow the rules of the platforms you connect, and understand that hardware controls such as power limits and fan curves are powerful tools that you use at your own risk.
By installing or using Winhanced you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. If you are using Winhanced on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.
Winhanced is a gaming shell for Windows. It brings your libraries together, adds console style behaviour such as sleep and resume, and on supported hardware exposes controls for power, fans, lighting and button mapping. We grant you a personal, non exclusive, revocable licence to install and use it on devices you own or control.
You may not resell Winhanced, redistribute modified builds, or remove or bypass licensing and entitlement checks.
Winhanced connects to storefronts and social platforms at your request. You are responsible for making sure you own the accounts you connect and that using them with Winhanced is permitted by those platforms. Your use of Steam, Discord, Xbox, PlayStation, Epic, GOG and Patreon remains governed by their own terms.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of those companies. Their names and marks belong to them.
Public builds are free. Early Access builds are available to active Patreon supporters. Access lasts while your membership is active. Early Access software is by nature unfinished and may contain defects, may change without notice, and may be withdrawn. Patreon handles all payments, and refunds are subject to Patreon's policies.
We may suspend access to our services if these rules are broken.
Please read this one. On supported devices Winhanced can change power limits, fan behaviour, power plans and controller firmware settings. These are the same controls a manufacturer utility exposes, and misusing them can cause instability, overheating, reduced component lifespan, or voiding of your warranty.
You use these features at your own risk. We test on the hardware we own and rely on user reports for the rest. Always keep your device adequately cooled and stop using a setting that causes instability. If you are unsure, leave the defaults alone.
We aim to keep the service running but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. Features that depend on a third party platform can stop working if that platform changes or restricts its service, and that is outside our control.
Winhanced is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non infringement. We do not warrant that the software will be error free or that defects will be corrected.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Winhanced and its creators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or hardware damage, arising from your use of the software. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and if you live somewhere that grants you rights which cannot be waived, those rights still apply.
You can stop using Winhanced at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end access to our services if these terms are broken or if we stop offering the service.
These terms may change as the product does. We will update the date at the top of this page, and significant changes will be announced in the app or on our Discord. Continuing to use Winhanced after a change means you accept it.
